"For an artist it is very difficult to talk about his painting, because an artist “grows bare” in what he is painting and I think that basically he paints in order not to have to talk about what he is painting."
For an artist it is very difficult to talk about his painting, because an artist “grows bare” in what he is painting and I think that basically he paints in order not to have to talk about what he is painting. But anyway I will take the liberty of giving a recipe with the following ingredients: mix the pigments of vivid colours (natural ones if possible). Red for passion, blood or fire. Yellow for light, gold or sand. Blue for space, sea or coldness. Green for desire, newness, hope and forest, where life lives. Sienna, oxide, ochre, mother-earth. Delicate, ethereal purple. So beautiful emerald green. All that, mixed with oil, acrylic, egg, gum Arabic, etc. ... as you like. But above all put passion, sensitivity, affection, intuition, anger, intelligence, harmony, rhythm, ability, personality, synthesis, emotion and a bit (as you like) madness in it. I advise the spectator (gourmet) to take his place in front of the painting with a serene soul, to get lost in the labyrinth of colours, like a Bluebeard who is trying to read a treasure map. Let yourself being carried away by the intuition, the smell, your compass, the wind and ... have a good journey!
