"I question the intimacy, the otherness, the carnal presence of the other"

I question the intimacy, the otherness, the carnal presence of the other. Through different techniques, I explore the bare body, or the bodies. Acrylic, watercolour and oil pastels, "pierre noire", red chalk and gouache: the techniques used, alone or together, are only pretexts for exploring the unfathomable enigma of our living flesh. I like to seize the body within its everyday gestures and postures. I like to centre closely to make the postures and poses stand out, sometimes at the verge of abstraction. I like to move around the complex sceneries of the female and/or male anatomy, sometimes entangled. The pleasure of always renewable emotions…
